Do Botox Injections Make You Look Inexpressive?

As mentioned in previous articles, Botox Injections are a great way to give you a youthful aspect. It paralyzes the muscles that tend to wrinkle giving you a smooth skin. It is usually used on face muscles, forehead and eyes. One of the major concerns when somebody is thinking about submitting a Botox Injections’ treatment is that since some muscles are paralyzed the face will look paralyzed too and facial expressions will be very limited: “Doctor, will I be able to look surprised, happy or frown after a Botox Injection?” often ask future patients. The answer to this legitimate question is “Yes, definitely!” Botox Injections act locally on the lines that are persistent on your face. Those lines have developed over time. Botox will erase temporarily them but will allow you to express yourself freely with your face. The effect of Botox injections can last up to four months, if you don’t treat again during that time eventually your wrinkles will appear again. Sometimes you could see somebody who has been injected Botox to seem to have “devil” eyebrows. This happens for two main reasons. One of them is the doctor is not good at Botox Injections. I’d like to stress the fact that you must receive this treatment from a qualified professional in an adequate environment. The second reason is that actually some people ask for those kind of eyebrows. Reducing “crow feet” and lifting up the eyebrows are a very effective way to lighten up your sight and look younger.

I hope this article has clarified the main concern of people looking for information about Botox Injections. Anyway the best way to verify this post is to contact somebody who has receive the treatment so you can see by yourself and ask he person how it feels. You’ll be amazed. You’ll hardly notice the treatment and the person who has taken a Botox Injection will look perfectly natural and, obviously, younger and better.

Botox is one of the best wrinkle treatments known nowadays. When you’re taking Botox injections you’re injecting the botulin toxin A in your body. There are seven types of Botulin Toxins (from A to G). Botox is the trade name for the botulin toxin A.

The botulin toxins are related to botulism. Botulism is a form of food poisoning which could be fatal since paralyzes muscles. If it attacks the respiratory muscles it’s impossible to breathe, therefore the patient dies. The muscles paralysis is reached because the toxins attack the proteins which release the neurotransmitter responsible for contracting the muscles. Dying from a respiratory block is the most common cause of death caused by botulism.

Botox injections actually can be used also to benefit. If you inject Botox into a muscle, that muscle will paralyze. If you inject Botox into a face muscle, that muscle won’t wrinkle.

Botox injections are a great way to look younger and better. It takes effect after days, in some patients just hours. The wrinkles are greatly reduced or disappear at all. It is used by many people to reduce or eliminate the so-called frown wrinkles. It is approved to be used for people up to 65 years of age. The Food and Drug administration approved Botox for cosmetic use in 2002.

Other possible uses of Botox injections are to cure writer’s cramp, facial spasms and hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).

Be aware that Botox injections are medical procedures that must be administered by trained medical personnel. It is known that Botox injections are done during cocktail parties by non-professional, non-medical people. There is always a possible risk, therefore the patient should be in a medical environment equipped for any kind of emergency that could arise from the injection. Also it is not recommended to drink alcohol around the time of any injection. By no means do it outside of a medical structure.
